How do I place my order?

Step One: Consult
The design process starts with a complimentary one-hour consultation in which we get to know you and learn about your special event. This is your opportunity to review our Truly Yours designs and discuss your own style and preferences. Do you have a color scheme for your special event? Flower arrangements? A theme? Whatever you have in mind, we will work with you to create stationery that reflects that vision.

Step Two: Order
We will present a price quote and a contract, including the delivery of your invitations, based on the requirements discussed during the consultation. Design will begin when the signed contract and a 50 percent deposit are received.

Step Three: Design
Within two to three weeks of your order, we will present designs for your review. Once you’ve made your selection, you’re entitled to as many as three design revisions. We’ll work with you until everything is just as you want it!

Step Four: Deliver
Before printing begins, you will be e-mailed an electronic proof – a color Adobe PDF file – to review for grammar, spelling, punctuation and format. On your approval, the file will be sent to the printer and production will begin.
Within two to three weeks, your stationery will be ready for delivery.

Are samples available?

Because our Truly Yours stationery is one-of-a-kind, we have very few samples to share. If you see something online that you want to examine, we invite you to visit our studio. If you are outside the D.C. area, please give us a call or e-mail specific requests; we’ll check to see if samples are available or if something else might help you make your selection. Sample packages are $25.00 plus shipping.

What printing techniques are used?

Truly Yours stationery is produced by letterpress, foil stamping, engraving and offset lithography. We also offer special techniques such as laser cutting and digital addressing.

How much does a Truly Yours ensemble cost?

Since each stationery ensemble is unique in its design and format, it is also unique in its pricing. Cost is determined by the complexity of the design, the quantity ordered and the printing method and stock you choose.

When should I get started on my custom stationery?

Since the design process typically takes three to five weeks and printing another two to three weeks, it’s best to schedule your consultation four to five months before your special occasion. Of course, we’ll be happy to expedite production for an additional fee.

I don’t live in the Washington, DC area. Can we still work together?

Saima Says Design is proud to serve a national and international clientele. Since most communication will take place over the telephone or by e-mail, your location isn’t a factor. But, if you’re in the D.C.area, we’d love for you to drop by the studio. Just call to schedule a visit.
